Hazel Cottrell, the Director of Creative Content Company turns 30 in February this year, and she has decided to take on the challenge of supporting 12 charities throughout the twelve months of 2015, it’s a chance to give back to the community in a big way.

Creative Content Company are heavily involved with helping inmates at Peterborough Prison and students at schools and colleagues in Peterborough be the best they can through mentoring, guest speaking, one-to-one sessions, coaching and so much more. We give lots of time to support and help in the local community and although we give money to Shelter the 12 month / 12 charities is a big challenge for us and will help raise money and awareness for local charities in and around Cambridgeshire as well as national charities too.

The first charity event we have taken on is the Dryathalon for Cancer Research, although Hazel is not a big drinker, when out with friends it’s nice to have a cocktail or a glass of wine – knowing she can’t have this has made life a little trickier and we’re sure that as the days go on this will become more of a challenge.

But what’s coming up in the following 11 months?

February will bring two charity events. First we have the British Heart Foundation Wear It Beat It campaign where everyone is encouraged to wear red on Friday 8th February. Here at Creative Content Company we are encouraging everyone to do the same thing, get the red on and donate some pennies and pounds to British Heart Foundation.

On the 27th February we are getting some teams together from the #CreativeNetworking events, to go along to the Le Tour Free Kicks Quiz Night – if you’d like to come to book here;
