It's Official, £5.99 Entry Price For Facebook

It's Official, £5.99 Entry Price For Facebook

The scammers, spammers and blooming annoying people are at it again. Rumours have once again begun spreading across social media that Facebook are charging an entry price of £5.99 to allow users to keep their ‘subscription gold’ status on their Facebook account and this amount is needed to be paid to keep the users Facebook account private.

It is claimed that is you copy and paste the post you will have to pay the £5.99 entry charge and you’ll be able to continue using Facebook for free under the ‘subscription gold’ status. The statusor post you will see is as follows;

“Now it’s official! It is published in the media. Facebook has just released his entry price: £5.99 to keep the subscription gold of your status of life “private”. If you paste this message on your page, it will be offered free (I said paste not share) if not tomorrow, all your posts can become public. Even the messages that have been deleted or the photos not allowed. After all, it does not cost anything for a simple copy and paste. “

This is a complete lie and definitely nothing to worry about, let along copy and paste. If Facebook did decide to charge for using the internet’s largest social media website you wouldn’t get out of this entry price by copying and pasting a post, regardless of how many times you see it or how many people tell you to do it.

The thought process behind these are that spammers and scammers can see how far a post can get, it helps their name or company name get out there and for them, it’s fun – although in many people’s eyes it’s just ridiculous and a waste of time.

If you see anything like this, that maybe looks a little too good to be true or you’re just not sure then feel free to give us a call. We are always happy to check it out for you and let you know if it’s real or fake.
