Social media was once just a way to connect with friends from school and stalk ex-partners but it is now one of the most powerful and cost effective marketing tools for many businesses. However, it is often overlooked by many small businesses who feel they don’t have the time or resources to use social media.
Small businesses are constrained by the very fact they are ‘small’ businesses and therefore find that social media responsibilities fall through the gap or are worked on consistently for a few days and then forgotten about for a few weeks and this continues before the business finds they are getting nothing back from it and give up.

Firstly you need to establish a brand for social media, your brand is the content you create and the content you share as well as how you interact and engage with fans and customers right through to their perception of your business. Your brand is your online image.
You need to interact with your audience, don’t just talk at them but engage and interact with them to build a rapport and a relationship with your potential customers. Be informal and friendly to create positive branding for your business.
