You may remember we were slightly overexcited a few weeks back when we found out we had been nominated for the Unsung Hero award as part of the DevelopHER Awards in East Anglia. As of last week we are over the moon to confirm we have now gone through to the next level and we have been shortlisted for the DevelopHER Award of Unsung Hero.

On 24th September at 2pm we received the following email from Vikki of DevelopHER Awards;

“Congratulations! You have made it to the shortlist for the Unsung Hero award. We very much hope that you will be able to attend the awards from 5.30pm on the 25th November at The Kings Centre Norwich.”

We were also asked to send a high quality photo for any press releases, media requests and for it to be included in the program on the night so keep your eyes peeled for the smiling face of Hazel in local newspapers in and around East Anglia.

The DevelopHER Awards have been organised to help raise the profile of women in tech in East Anglia. Vikki, organiser of DevelopHER awards feels there is a vibrant tech community in East Anglia and she wants women to be a part of that and was therefore encouraging and urging people to nominate any amazing women in tech that they knew.

Hazel, Owner and Founder of Creative Content Company has been nominated for the Unsung Hero Award which is sponsored by Cooper Lomaz. This award is for someone that isn’t often in the limelight for the amazing job they do day in and day out or if they deserve recognition for something they have been doing.

We were over the moon to be nominated for the Unsung Hero Award and even more excited to then be shortlisted for the award, we now have to wait until the 25th November where we will be going to an awards evening to see who the winners are. Please keep your fingers crossed with us that we may win this very special award.
