As many of you will know, here at Creative Content Company we are extremely focused on charity and the community – however, those of you that know me will know I am not terribly focused on exercise and definitely not focused or passionate in any way about running… yet I have signed up for Sport Relief.

It’s important to note at this point that I am just doing 3 miles, however the last time I ran this distance was when I did the same charity event around 5-6 years ago. It is also important to note that I am completing this challenge the day after my best friend’s wedding, so I could be feeling a touch tender – to say the least!

If you fancy getting involved, doing the run yourself and joining my team then just click here;

The money raised through Sport Relief funding does incredible things, 50% of it goes to funding projects in some of the poorest communities across the world while the other 50% is used right here in the UK to help transform others lives which makes Sport Relief, I think, a super worthy cause and well worth running 3 miles with a hangover for.

Over the last two years the money raised for Sport Relief has helped well over 190,000 children to go to school and get a good education which will help them achieve more with their future. The money has also helped 16,500 people get the support they need to improve their mental health as well as 730,000 children being given life-saving vaccines. There was also money available to fund 23 projects that support people living with dementia – what amazing things that the money has been spent on!

So what are you waiting for? Get yourself on my team and run with me, pop it in your diary to come and cheer me on or please empty the change out of your pockets to support the amazing things that this charity is spending money on.
